Menke's Automotive Repair specializes in all types of auto repair foreign and domestic in Newburgh, IN and was established in 1976. Vernie Menke started this business originally as a carburetor and tune-up shop. As more and more customers needed additional services, and with the introduction of computers etc in cars he expanded to serve more of his customers. Menke's has now grown from a one man operation to a shop with 13 employees. Our shop has won several awards. One of those being selected as a Top Shop in the USA by Motorage Magazine out of more than 165,000 shops in the USA, and we were selected as Number 1 in Auto Repair. Additionally we have been awarded the AAA shop in our area, which is something else we appreciate and are very proud of. Visit the shop and see the Menke's difference! Family owned and proud of our high standards in service.
Here's a shop that you won't believe. Check out their web site, www.menkesauto.com I've been in the shop and you "could eat off the floor". This shop won the Motor Magazine Top Shop for 2009. They perform all types of repairs on all makes and models. Vernie, the owner has an auto background probably second to none in the area. If you think the shop is nice you should see the extended waiting room. The quality of the work is just as good or even better than the facility itself. Tucked away on Vann Rd it's not the easiest to find but most definately worth the drive if you live in Southern Indiana. brakes, steering, suspension, drivability, timing belts, they do it all. - P. We were very proud to have been asked by WFIE NBC News 14 to provide information regarding the very real issue our local area is facing regarding the potential of purchasing water damaged vehicles. There are several places to look for evidence of water damage in the trunk, under the hood, under the car, on top of the fuel tank, and then inside the car as well. Vernie Menke - Owner Interviewed

Thousands of water damaged vehicles are potentially for sale, right now, cleaned up and sent to auction or shipped out of Texas after the historic Memorial Day floods.Where'd they all go?
Frank Scafidi with the National Insurance Crime Bureau told us, it's a good question because those cars continue to reappear month after month. They're for sale online, at auction, from private sellers, and even sometimes by accident, at used car dealers. But you won't always be able to spot one, just by looking at it or even driving it.
